We started to keep bees a few years ago and I began making skincare products with the surplus beeswax. I am passionate about animal welfare and the environment and have always strived to only use ethical beauty products which can be a minefield, so I started to make my own.
I make soap, body balms and lip balm, all handmade in small batches. The base ingredients for all of my products are organic oils: cocoa butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter and beeswax.
I do not use plastics at all and all of my packaging is biodegradable and/or recyclable. I use recycled paper and card and even paper tape and biodegradable bubble wrap so not a scrap of plastic will come through your door with my products.
Many soaps these days use palm oil and beef tallow but I was determined to experiment with a recipe which would produce a creamy, firm, long lasting bar of soap which is kind to your skin without using anything which would harm animals or the environment. I think I’ve achieved my goal, but judge for yourself! Beeswax is a natural preservative, so no need for any added chemicals. The only additions to this organic blend of oils are essential oils and mica powder for added colour as well as honey from our own bees for a touch of sweetness to the lip balm.
Everything is individually handmade and natural; a perfect gift idea or just a treat for yourself.
Items can be purchased individually or as gift sets as well as bespoke gift sets for any occasion, big or small. A gift for a friend, colleague or teacher right up to wedding favours, corporate events or wholesale orders to stock your own ethical marketplace.
